BEVERIDGE, James "Jim� Findlay
Died peacefully on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Belmont House in Toronto. Beloved husband to Doris. Jim was born and raised in Cowdenbeath, Scotland, the son of Andrew and Mary Beveridge. He is survived by sisters Margaret Newman, Iris Christie, May Robertson, and brother Charles as well as many extended family. During the war, Jim was a navigator in the Royal Air Force. His later career was in education - a pursuit he loved - both as a public school teacher and principal for the York Board of Education. His many pastimes included golf, lifetime membership in the Toronto Camera Club, and as a member of the Richmond Hill Live Steamers. The family will receive friends for a celebration of Jim�s life at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 12-1 p.m. on Saturday, October 28th with the funeral service in the chapel at 1 o�clock. A reception will follow in the Leaside Room. A private internment will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery.
