Obituary of Irene Cook

COOK, Irene Bessie (nee Oliver) Peacefully at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on Monday, October 29, 2007, at the age of 91 years. Loving wife of the late Frederick George. Irene, daughter of the late Thomas William and Mary (nee Chadwick) Oliver. Sister of the late George and Frank Oliver. Irene will be greatly missed by her family Diane (Gibson Gray), Ralph Cook (Vicki), Alice (John Montgomery), and Tom Cook (Trish). Loving grandmother of Catherine, Andrew, Ian, Megan, James, Kaitlin and Trevor. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her quiet, strong nature and her unfailing support of her family. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 30th. Funeral service in ST. CUTHBERT'S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 1399 Bayview Avenue, on Wednesday, October 31st at 11 a.m. Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
