Obituary of Marjorie Saker

SAKER, Marjorie Doris (nee Davie) Passed away, peacefully, on Friday, October 26, 2007. She was a warm, loving, caring gentle woman, deeply devoted to her family and friends - much loved by all her family. Predeceased by her beloved husband Jack. Loving mother of Paul (Anne) and Brian (Linda). Dear grandmother of Christopher, Brandon, Melissa and Ainsley. Will be sadly missed by her sisters, Beulah, Marion, Joan and brother Gordon and their spouses and her many nieces and nephews. Marjorie was predeceased by her sister, Audrey, and her brothers, Clifford and Orville. Many thanks to the Glynnwood Retirement Residence staff. Special thanks to nurses Nancy and Teodora at York Central Hospital. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2.00 - 3.30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 30. There will be a private interment at 3.30 p.m. followed by a reception from 4-5 p.m. in the Leaside Room. Donations in memory of Marjorie to the Sunnybrook Foundation 2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4N 3M5, would be appreciated.
