Dear Brad and Zan, I was so sorry to read about Mrs. Dix in yesterday's Globe. When we lived in the newlywed apartment in Leaside, I remember her and Mr. Dix visiting you across the hall, and I also remember her as a vibrant, elegant lady. What a long life, and I'm sure she continued to enjoy you both and your two sons (belated congratulations!). You two were part of a very happy time in our lives.
