Obituary of Nevil George Hawthorne

HAWTHORNE, Nevil After a long illness, Nevil passed away at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre on August 31, 2006, at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Shirley. Nevil was predeceased by his eldest sister Elisabeth, and leaves sister Shelagh and brothers Terence and Charles. Much loved father of daughter Lee Mackenzie and son Patrick and his wife Linda. Adored "Grandpa� of Megan, Ian, Taylor, Samantha and Kate. Nevil will be missed dearly by his family and friends, as well as colleagues of his 44 years with Deloitte Touche. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, September 4th. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 5th at 3 o�clock in THE ANGLICAN CHURCH OF ST. CLEMENT, EGLINTON, 59 Briar Hill Avenue. A reception will follow at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club, 44 Price Street. A private interment will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.
