Obituary of Margaret Calder Mechin Benson

BENSON, Margaret Lillian (n�e Calder) Peacefully at Belmont House in Toronto, in her 100th year. Wife of the late Winslow Benson, and the late Archibald Mechin. Survived by stepdaughter Margaret Benson of Arnprior, stepson Robert Mechin (Jamie) of Stouffville, stepdaughter Barbara Mechin-Read (Kenneth) of Kingston, Geiszler nieces Florence, Elaine and Margaret of North Dakota, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Margaret�s family extends a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Belmont House for the outstanding level of compassion and care that they provided during the fourteen years that she lived there. At Margaret�s request, a simple memorial service will be held at Belmont House at a later date.
