Obituary of John Hughes

HUGHES, John "Jack� Died peacefully, at Sunnybrook Veteran�s Wing, Toronto, on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Hughes. Loving father of Cathy and John (Mary). Proud grandfather of Jennifer, Michael, Heather and Jodi and great-grandfather of Emma. Predeceased by his brothers Vic, Tom, Jim and sisters Thelma and Eileen. Jack was a proud 48th Highlander and WWII Veteran. Special thanks to the caring staff at Sunnybrook�s Veterans Wing. A service will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), on Friday, August 4 at 11 o�clock.
