Obituary of Flori Reininger
REININGER, Flori (nee Malacarne)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our dear mother. Flori was a generous spirit who always gave of herself. Kind of heart, she enjoyed a full life, always making time for her children, sister, mother-in-law, family and friends. On Wednesday, July 19, 2006 Flori, in her 82nd year, peacefully left us, surrounded by her family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Richard, her brother Joe and her sister Lena. She leaves behind her children Susan (John) Goddard, Anita (Roger) Hill, and Rick (Pegi); grandchildren Matthew, Amy, Charlie, Richard and Brie. Fondly remembered by her nephews Peter, Joe (Barb) and her niece Marlene (Greg); grandnephews and grandnieces Alexander, Jessica and Elizabeth, Erik and Ellen. Svetlana and Eileen, words cannot express how we feel about you both. Caregivers, true. Exceptionally special friends and extended family, always and forever. Gaby, home is where the heart is and you have an exceptionally large heart. To you, Mrs. Scheer and all the extraordinary staff at Briar Crest, Mums home for the last four years, a heartfelt thank you. We will always cherish the wonderful memories of the love and devotion of her dearest friends Francesca, Vilma, Art and Henrietta, who were steadfastly there to share good times and laughter. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East) from 5-9 p.m. Friday, with a eulogy at 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 10 oclock in OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP CHURCH, 78 Clifton Road. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery. If desired, a donation to the Alzheimer Society for Metropolitan Toronto, 2323 Yonge Street, Suite #500, Toronto M4P 2C9, or a charity of your choice would be special to Flori.
