McGOWAN, J. E. Carson Peacefully at North York General Hospital on June 3, 2006 at the age of 87 years. Survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Gwen (nee Jardine). Loving father of David (Doreen), Hugh, and James (Megan). Cherished grandfather of Stewart, Bill and Doug. A private service was held on Friday June 9, 2006. Carson rests at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
