Obituary of Madeline Florence Freeman

FREEMAN, Madeline Florence On July 13, 2006, in her 93rd year, in her daughter�s arms at sunset, Madeline left this world to be reunited with her beloved son Graham Freeman, husband Patrick, brother Graham Austin, parents Vera and Arthur Austin and a host of other family and friends. Madeline lived life as if it really mattered and she left a loving and proud legacy for her daughter Patricia Marshall, son-in-law Tom Marshall and daughter-in-law Susan Freeman, as well as for her much loved grandchildren Jennifer Marshall (husband Ron Lopes), Sarah Marshall (husband Graeme Boon), Christopher Marshall, Ashley Freeman and Michael Freeman. She is also survived by her brother Douglas Austin of Calgary, an extended family and a network of friends who all loved her and will cherish the memories of Madeline�s unique, imaginative and loving spirit. Remembrances can be made to the Writer�s Union of Canada, the Writers� Development Trust or to CANSCAIP. A celebration of Madeline�s life will be held on Thursday, August 24th at a location to be determined. Arrangements by A.W. Miles.
