Obituary of Vimy Lena Elizabeth Coleman

COLEMAN, Vimy Lena Elizabeth (nee Harvey) Vimy, a long-time resident of Leaside, passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 in her 90th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Geoffrey Gardiner. Dear sister-in-law of Shirley and Bob Gawley of Williamsville, New York. Much loved by Linda and Vanessa. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Vimy was born in Toronto and graduated from Central Technical School. She worked for the City of Toronto until her retirement. Amongst her many achievements, Vimy won medals and awards for Target Shooting and represented Canada at Bisley, England. The family especially wishes to thank Dr. David Ryan for his many years of loving and unfailing care, as well as the CNIB and Living Well Program for making her last years so enjoyable.
