Obituary of Robert Johnston

JOHNSTON, Robert "Bob� It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bob on Saturday, May 27th, 2006 at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in his 84th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Velma. Loving father of Kathryn and her husband Ron Doren. Adoring grandfather of Melissa and Jennifer Doren. Bob was the son of the late Robert and Gladys Johnston and brother of the late Edward Johnston. He will be remembered by his sister Eileen Barr and her husband Peter, sister-in-law Marilyn Johnston and by his nieces and nephews. Bob was a former employee of Bell Telephone Co. for 40 years. He was a member of St. Mark�s Presbyterian Church in Don Mills and a long time member of The Toronto Camera Club. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31st. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 1st at 11 o�clock in ST. MARK�S PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 1 Greenland Road.
