Obituary of William Hughes Pratt

PRATT, William (Bill) Hughes Died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at Rouge Valley Health Centre, Centenary Site, with his wife at his side. He was a loving husband of Gwendoline, his wife of 58 years, and devoted father to daughter Nanci and son Bruce. He will be missed by his two grandsons Kyle and Leigh, and granddaughter Kyra-Mei, as well as his sister Margaret Davis, son-in-law Mark Smith and daughter-in-law Susan Coates. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Tony Stacey Centre for Veterans Care along with members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Highland Creek Branch 258 for their care and compassion over the past five years. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29. Funeral service will be held at CHRIST CHURCH DEER PARK, 1570 Yonge Street (north of St. Clair) on Sunday, April 30 at 2:00. Private interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
