Obituary of Kathleen Theresa Cassaday

CASSADAY, Kathleen. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 18th, after a two and a half year unrelenting battle with cancer, in her 44th year. Loving daughter of Terrence and Kathleen Cassaday of Burlington, Ontario. To be missed, beyond words, by brother John and sister-in-law, Mary; sister Nancy and brother Terry and his wife, Brenda Rusnak. Adored aunt and friend of Jesse, Kate and Jake, John and Jennifer, Saffron, Emerson, Madison, Kascha and Macaulee. Kathleen was a passionate IT professional having worked at Wang Labs, Xerox and most recently Microsoft Canada until the time of her death. Thanks to the many doctors, nurses and health care workers at St. Michael�s, Princess Margaret, Toronto General (UHN) and Mt. Sinai who cared for Kathleen in her battle. Also a special thank you to Emily who cared for Kathleen so generously in the last months of her life. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), on Tuesday, March 21 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A service for family will be held on Wednesday, March 22 at 11 am followed by a reception for Kathleen�s family, relatives and friends from 12 -1:30 pm at the Granite Club, 2350 Bayview Avenue (north of Lawrence).
