Obituary of Ruth Isobel Collins

RUTH ISOBEL COLLINS 1913-2006 Peacefully, at Vancouver, on Sunday, March 12th, 2006 in her 93rd year. Predeceased by loving husband, Edward John Collins. Loving and devoted mother to her four children: Amaryllis Blaiklock, Frank Collins (Eve), Carol Wiens (Bob) and John Collins (Cathy). Proud grandmother of nine cherished grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Survived by her dear sister Constance Mildred Morris. Predeceased by her brother Dr. James L. Smith. Born and raised in Toronto, Ruth moved to Vancouver at age 89 to be near her daughter Carol. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Sunday, March 19th. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, March 20th at 1 o�clock.
