Obituary of Robert Lorne McCarthy

McCARTHY, Robert Lorne Passed away unexpecteadly on Saturday, March 11, 2006 in his 91st year after living a very full life filled with the love of family, friends and many worldly adventures. Beloved husband of Helen Ruth (nee Greer). Loving and much loved father of Sandra (Keith) and Bruce (Denise). Devoted Grandfather of Bradley (Samantha), Shawn (Tory), Lauren, Bruce�s Little brother Mark Cotgrave and Great Grandfather of Kaitlyn. In serving his Country in World War II, Robert held the rank of Major. He was a long time Rotarian and member of the Granite Club. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Tuesday, March 14th . Funeral service at 1pm on Wednesday in the Chapel with reception to follow.
