Hello, we do not know each other but I am writing to you in regards of the loss of your dear family member, Lorie Bachelor. I would like to send my deepest sympathy. It seems so unfair that death should have the power to take away someone you love and it can be most difficult to bear. The Bible, however, holds out a wonderful hope. The Scriptures indicate that it is possible to be reunited with your dead loved one in the near future right here on earth – Psalms 37:11. Although this is a time of sadness, I would like to direct you to some encouraging and comforting information that can be shared amongst you and your family. A sample of it is contained in the online tract, “What Hope for Dead Loved Ones?” found at: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/what-hope-for-dead-loved-ones/1101987030/ (Just copy and paste the URL link into your web browser)

Lorie will be greatly missed, especially by Dave and her co-workers. I was honoured to have worked with Lorie many years ago and still recall her strength of spirit and understanding of the trials and tribulations of others. A true loss to all that have known her.

We have lost a very special person. A bright light is no longer glowing. Lorie we were truly soul sisters. I will miss you beyond belief. 30 Years was just not enough. I wish Dave and your family all the strenght and courage they are going to need to get through this very difficult time. There are no words that can express our sorrow. We take strength in knowing your spirit will always be with us.

I feel honoured to have been able to get to know Lorie over the past few years. Though I only ever met with Lorie and Dave in the clinical setting at Odette, my life is richer because of her. Lorie's love of life was contagious, her courage and strength inspiring, and her generosity of spirit endless. She was truly an angel on earth, and we are all so lucky to have been touched by her beautiful spirit.
