Obituary of Joseph Henry Hickman

HICKMAN, Joseph (Joe) Henry - Peacefully, on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at The Westmount in Kitchener, Ontario surrounded by his loving family. Dad was in his 98th year and previously enjoyed his home on Hillside Dr., Toronto. Predeceased by his loving wife Ettie (1998) to whom he was happily married for 64 years and his dear sister Nellie (Bruce) Moad. Joe was the proprietor of Meadowvale Farms on the Danforth in Toronto for 48 years. After years of hard work, he enjoyed his retirement at the cottage, travelling, fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed by his daughters Sylvia Wilson and Carol Jessup and by his grandchildren Bradley (Pam) Wilson, Brendan (Linda) Wilson, Laura and Louise Jessup and great-granddaughter Samantha Wilson. Also fondly remembered by son-in-law Jim Jessup and Jamie Poholko. Friends will be received at the Humphrey Funeral Home, 1403 Bayview Avenue, Toronto on Friday, March 3, 2006, visitation 11:00a.m. - 1:00 p.m. with funeral service and interment at Pine Hills Cemetery to follow.
