Obituary of Jack Robert Bell

Bell, Jack Robert Peacefully at home in Toronto in his sleep, surrounded by his loving family on February 21, 2006, in his 84th year. Loving husband of Lily (nee Nahas) for over 50 years, and previously the late May (nee Dagher). Dear father of Robert, Joyce, John, and Michael. Cherished grandfather of Andrea, May, Joe, Jacqueline, Edward, Jack, Marius, and Darius. Jack was a man of courage, conviction, passion and great integrity, who had an unending love of his family, of life, and of his adopted Canada. He enjoyed a 50-year career as an engineer and was a man of the world whose contributions and legacy are permanently recognized at the University of Toronto. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 23rd with family commemoration at 8 p.m. Funeral mass to be held on Friday, February 24 at 10 a.m. at ANNUNCIATION PARISH, 3 Combermere Drive, North York.
