Obituary of Elizabeth Stark

STARK, Elizabeth Gertrude (Betty), nee McClelland Our beautiful mother passed away peacefully, in her sleep, at Sunrise Assisted Living, Markham, on the morning of February 2, 2006. Predeceased by her loving husband Henry Gooderham Stark. Loving mother of Joanne Ross (Walter), John (Chris), Tom (Marilyn), Bob (Joan), Kate (Ted Moses), and Richard (Sherry Pribik). Grandmother of Sarah, Graham, Elissa, Meghan, Patrick, Michael, Jamie, Kaeli, Kristin, Matthew, Daniel, Lindsay, Gregory, Russell, Erin, Kerry, Adriana, and Calder. Sister of Margaret Barlow of Vancouver, predeceased by brother Jack McClelland of Toronto. Betty will be remembered by her children, grandchildren, friends and acquaintances for her passion about the well-being of children, her life�s love of Georgian Bay, and her endless fascination with the world around her. Special thanks to the staff of Sunrise Assisted Living, Markham, for their support and care over the last four years and, particularly, her last few days. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2 p.m. on Monday, February 6 for a service in the chapel at 3 p.m., followed by a reception in the Leaside Room of the funeral home.
