Obituary of Robert White Grainger

GRAINGER, Robert White April 30, 1928 to December 8, 2005 It is with deepest sorrow that the family announces Robert�s passing on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Toronto General Hospital after an unexpected heart attack. He is fondly remembered by his children James, Shelley, Mary Ann and Adam, grandchildren Kimberly, Chase and Katerina and his partner Shelly Weinman and her daughters Nicole and Kathryn. He is predeceased by his sister Audrey and his parents Robert and Ann Grainger. Robert passed suddenly while researching his passion, lacrosse - a sport he excelled at as a player winning the Mann Cup in 1948 with the Hamilton Tigers. Robert enjoyed life to its fullest and passed that spirit onto his friends and family. He is already missed and will always be loved. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2005. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, December 13th at 11 o�clock. A reception will follow. Private family interment at St. Luke�s Cemetery Hamlet, Severn Township, Ontario.
