Aidan was a student in my Classical Mechanics class at Trent University in the fall of 2005. I was greatly shocked and saddened to hear of his untimely death, as were many other staff and students in the Physics Department. Aidan touched many lives, and he is greatly missed. I will remember Aidan's friendly smile and joy for life. I would like to express my sincere condolences to all of Aidan's family and friends.

Aidan will be sorely missed by his professors and fellow physics students at Trent University. At an in-class memorial service held last week at his classmates' initiative, he was fondly remembered as a fun-loving person who contributed greatly to the esprit-de-corps of the class. The students stated their desire to work towards reducing the culture of violence that seems to infuse so much of our society. Instructors knew Aidan's good sense of humour, and his honest approach to his studies. As his instructor in two courses over the last two years, I am shocked and saddened to lose him. The Board of Directors and Members of the Sudbury Yacht Club extend their heartfelt condolences, prayers and tears to the family. We remember Aidan as a warm, fun loving, considerate and extraordinary young man. We will always remember his sailing with Granddad and his close rapport with his Grandmother. Rest in peace Aidan , you will be sorely missed.

It has been an amotional week for all of the varsity swim team and I just wanted to offer my sympathy and condolences for the family of Aidan. We are all thinking and praying for you in this difficult time and we will forever cherish the moments we had with Aidan at Trent. Take care my friend.
