Obituary of Roy Ernest McKenzie

McKENZIE, Roy Ernest Passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, November 20th, 2005 at Sunnybrook & Women�s Health Science Centre, Toronto in his 84th year. Roy will be greatly missed by his lovely and gracious wife Joan (nee Hill) of 58 years and his six children, Martin McKenzie (Colleen), Gaye Villa (Enzo), Keith McKenzie, Jane Muddiman (Rob), Bruce McKenzie (Francine) and Scott McKenzie (Sue), of whom he was so proud. Granddad to Melani (Dino), Sean (predeceased), Danielle (Rob), Hannah, Brooke, Allison, Michael, Madison, John, Laura, David, Alexis, Paige, Faith Alice and Katelyn. Great- Granddad to Sonya, Devon, Nicholas and Eva. Special uncle to Bruce (Pat), Penny (Arthur) and Susan (Jim). Predeceased by his siblings Earl, Beatrice and Florence. A great friend to many. Roy was a long time member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 66, after service in the RCNVR during World War II. Roy enjoyed many activities throughout his life with his loving family and friends. A special thanks to the staff of Sunnybrook. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), 1 hour prior to the service which will be held in the chapel on Sunday, November 27th at 1 o�clock.
