Obituary of Alice M. Blenkin
BLENKIN, Alice (nee Cradick)
Died peacefully on November 13, 2005 in her home at the Claremont Retirement Residence in Toronto at age 89.
Alice leaves her son Bryan and his partner Alan, her son Peter and granddaughter Elizabeth, husband Dale and great-granddaughter Zoe. Alice was predeceased by her husband Trevor, son Rick and daughter-in-law Mary (Peter). Alice enjoyed her years in the Canadian Navy in World War II stationed in Halifax and was active in her later years as a volunteer for the Toronto Court Volunteer Support Services and the Ontario Stroke Recovery Association. She remembered fondly years spent at her cottage at Spar Lake in Haliburton. Alice was a loving and caring person to her family and friends and will be greatly missed. The family thanks the staff of The Claremont for their care and support during Alice�s three years there. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 1pm to 3pm on Tuesday November 15th, 2005. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
