Obituary of Ethel Bird

BIRD, Ethel Passed away in her 98th year on November, 2, 2005. Beloved wife of the late Edward Bird. Loving mother of Gordon and his wife Gwen of Gravenhurst, William and his wife Marguerite of Bracebridge, and Ronald and his wife Mary Ann of Peterborough. Dear grandmother of Michael, Christine, Carolyn, David, Stephen, Brian and Kathy. She will be dearly missed by her 14 great-grandchildren. Ethel enjoyed a very active life and until recently pursued her love of painting and many other artistic talents. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, November 4th. A family service will be held on Saturday, November 5th at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
