A warrior who succumbed with dignity to brain tumors on October 29th, 2005 . An avid traveller, we are in deep sorrow at his final journey. Born in Scotland, Ian was the first son of Helen Mulholland and Alexander Hewittson-Cameron, brother of Sheila and Ella, all predeceased. Loving and loyal husband of Carmella (Camilla), dedicated and proud father to cherished daughter Deirdre and son-in-law Ian Milligan, and enchanted Grandfather of Emily and twins Christopher and Paige. Remembered by sisters in laws Nuala Fleming, Antoinette Jones (Graham) and all nieces and nephews in Ireland, Ottawa, California and Chicago.
A man of principle and honour, his life was exciting and interesting without any regrets. An engineer naval officer, president and CEO of his own project management firm, life member of the St Andrews Society, a Scottish country dancer, a tango dancer, a history buff, a bridge player, a sailor and captain of his yacht the Salamander, and a great sports enthusiast.
