My condolences to Archdeacon Hobson's family at this very sad time. I worked for him for a few months in 1970, at the Anglican Synod Office of the Diocese of Qu'Appelle in Regina. He was a kind and thoughtful boss. I especially enjoyed the stories he would recount at coffee time, and I have come to understand that the gift I was given was a warm appreciation of, and affection for, Anglicanism.
