Obituary of Lois Evelyn Folliott

Lois Evelyn Folliott (nee Gastrell) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Lois Folliott at the age of 85 into the loving arms of her Saviour Jesus, on October 17th, 2005. Lois was a wonderful giving force as daughter, sister, wife, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was born in Weston on October 15, 1920, dear daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Gastrell. She was predeceased by her siblings, Jean, Marion, Thelma and Clarke. Her sister Lorna Dabbs lives in Prince George, B.C. Lois� beloved husband Ken died in 1998. She will be sadly missed by her children Wendy (Tom Hamilton), Bill (Sandy), Betsy (John Mallany), Jane (predeceased), Larry (Linda) and John (Natalie). Grandma was cherished by her 11 grandchildren Jay, Tammy, Brian, Kim, John Paul, Crystal, Robert, Matthew, Sydney, Michael and Amy and by 3 great grandchildren Quinn, Kelsi and Molly. Lois will be best remembered for her love of family. Her determination and sense of humour made her a constant source of strength for all who knew her. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, October 20th. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 21st at 11 o�clock. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the National Ovarian Cancer Association or charity of your choice.
