Dear Russell and Family : When I was General Manager of The Calgary Stampede, I talked to and visited with Howard quite regularly. When I retired, we lost touch to a significant degree but still talked once or twice a year and it was always a pleasure for me. I know that I speak for hundreds of others when I say that Howard could brighten a persons day, like few others could do. His sense of humour....his straight forward honest approach ......his winning smile.....his compassion, all added up to make Howard a special human being. I know that our lives are better for having known Howard. Our most sincere condolances to you, Russell, and to your whole family. May the wonderful memories of good times your family enjoyed with Howard in the past, help you through this difficult time. May God Bless Howard and each member of his family.
