To Atjeng and the Goh family, I had the good fortune to work with Mei-Jean in Vancouver in the early 1990's. Mei-Jean had a great sense of humour and fun and was a really lovely person. I am very sorry for your loss.

Mei Jean has been my dear friend for some 40 years. We went to school and grew up together in Singapore since the 1960s. She was always a gentle, caring, cheerful and jovial friend, never without a smile and always helping others. All who knew her were astounded by her very high intellect, but respected and loved her for her humility and generosity. I will always cherish our childhood memories, remember the shared excitement of our teenage years, and recall the tears and joys of our young adult and maturing years. Mei Jean, I love and miss you. Until we meet again, the Lord's Heaven now has a new beautiful angel to sing praises there .... Min Wai

To Atjeng, Uncle and Auntie Goh, and all in the Goh family. I share your grief and send with this message my deepest condolences. Although I am in Singapore and unable to be there with you and your family, please do know that I, together with my husband, Pang Bin, and son, Isaac, are with you in prayers and thoughts in this time of sadness. Mei Jean and I have been in touch by email for years although we are separated by miles. I know that her smile will always shine in my heart and her voice in my ears ... and I would like you and your family to know that Mei Jean is special in so many ways that she will always be right here next to me, until we are together again, according to the Lord's Will. May God's Blessings be with you and all the family. Take care. From Min Wai, Singapore

Dear Atjeng, Mr & Mrs Goh, Mei Ling & all the family, I wish to extend my deepest condolences to you all. Mei Jean is a dear friend and she will be painfully missed. The cheerfulness & serenity that Mei Jean manifested throughout her illness would not have been possible but for her deep faith in God. Dear Atjeng, Mr. and Mrs. Goh and all May's family, Please accept very deepest sympathies on the loss of Mei-Jean. Since the first time we met I have admired the lively interest that she took in so many people and things, her incisiveness joined with gentleness and humour, her kindness and her strength. I can never think of her without using the word "sparkle," and I am privileged to have known such a very special and remarkable person. Please know that you are much in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely, Cathie Long near Cobourg, Ontario

Dear Atjeng and family, Our most heartfelt and sincerest sympathies are with Mei, Atjeng and her family. We will dearly miss Mei. I feel both fortunate and special for having the opportunity to have met Mei and been able to get to know her a little bit. Mei and her husband Atjeng live across the street from us and I remember the first day I met her and will fondly remember all of the conversations we had and times I saw her. There was not a time that went by after seeing Mei that either my husband or I would say, "she is such a sweet person". I have very happy memories of seeing Mei sitting in her Canada chair on her front porch, talking about tulips and gardening, talking about her beading as well as talking about life in general. Mei was inspirational and truly made of all good things. Jimmy and I will truly miss our wonderful neighbor Mei. Laura and Jimmy.

Dear Atjeng, Uncle & Auntie Goh and all in the Goh Family I was very saddened to hear of Mei Jean's passing. I remember Mei Jean as an intelligent girl who is a perfectionist. She is always so cheerful and so so caring. Ever since I left Vancouver in 1985, she has been sending me birthday card and subsequently birthday greeting thru email every year without fail. I will miss her... With love Vivian, Khay Kern and kids

I am very saddened to hear Mei-Jean passed away. I worked with her at Nortel 8 years ago and was wondering where she was, then I received this email. I remember her taking an active role at Toastmasters and encouraging many to join. I remember working with her on great products that are still used by thousands if not millions. She will always be remembered as a positive person that worked hard and intelligently with high ethics and great values. May the Lord bring peace to her family I never met and bring her soul close to Him. Rami

Dear Atjeng, Aunty and Uncle Goh, Mei Jean and I were classmates at CJC. She was the one who made me feel like part of the class when we started at JC 1 as I did not know anyone in that class. I will always remember her cheerfulness and sweet personality and her courage during her illness. Know that Mei Jean is safe and happy with our LORD and we will all meet again when it is our time to return Home. Also know that you are in my prayers and thoughts. May God be with you all till we meet again. with my deepest condolences, Boon Yang.

Dear Atjeng and family, I have known Mei Jean since primary school where we were classmates, in Sunday school, again as classmates, also at Confirmation Class when we were confirmed at the same time. She is always remembered as a sweet person, with a ready smile, and kind soul. I will sorely miss her cheery emails which she would send at all times of the year...Easter, Christmas, birthdays, she was always in touch even despite her illness. I mourn her loss, and I know she has gone to a better place. My deepest condolences, Sandra
