Obituary of Gerald Francis Hayden

HAYDEN, Gerald Francis LL.B., Q.C. (December 14, 1924 - September 18, 2005) Retired Partner of McCarthy Tetrault and Past President of the Nelson Arthur Hyland Foundation. Peacefully passed away in Toronto on Sunday, September 18, 2005 with his family at his side. Beloved husband of the late MaryLouise (2000). Dear father to Jay (Kate) of Victoria, B.C., Judy (Sandy) of Aurora, Ontario, Andrew (Jillian) of Calgary, Alberta and the late Richard. Grandfather of Gillian, Curtis, Connor, Neil, Hayden, Brady and Liam. Son of Senator Salter Hayden and Ethel Connelly and brother to Salter Jr., Wilfred and Michael (all predeceased). Life long friend to Mitz Ito and his sons Dick and Arthur. A private family service was held. A Celebration of Life to be held at Rosedale Golf Club, details to follow at a later date.
