Obituary of Elisabeth Wanda Price

PRICE, Elisabeth Wanda "Betty� Passed away at the age 84. Born in Berlin, she served as a nurse there during the war and later worked with the U.S. Army of Occupation as an interpreter. Betty landed in Canada in 1954. In Toronto she worked for the accounting firm KPMG and for almost 40 years she was a volunteer for the Royal Ontario Museum. Betty leaves her loving husband Les, stepsons Michael and Brian and her loving niece Marian. Special thanks to Dr. Ruth Bothern and Maria and to the nursing staff at Sunnybrook and Women�s Health Science Centre. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), on Tuesday, September 27 at 1:30 p.m. for a celebration of Betty�s life. Betty has donated her body to the Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, for anatomical studies and medical research.
