Obituary of Thomas William Lovett
LOVETT, Thomas William
Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook and Women�s College Health Science Centre on Monday, August 15, 2005 in his 84th year at 12:15 a.m. after an evening of song and prayer with his family. Beloved husband of the late Win (Fairhurst). Treasured father of Maureen, Pam and Angela. Generous father-in-law of Rod Barron, Don Walker and Craig Reid. Much loved Grandda of Andrew, Matthew, Jonathan, Daniel, Meaghan, Kathleen, Breanna, Thomas, Lucas and Mikkyla. Tom is welcomed home to his loving God and reunited with his cherished Win and his brothers Mike and Frank. Tom will be always remembered for his devoted love of his daughters, their husbands and his 10 adoring grandchildren, his deep and abiding faith, his strong spirit, his keen intelligence, his irrepressible sense of humour, and his genuine concern for others. Tom served his country during WW�� as a Sergeant Second Regiment Artillery Division. Tom retired from a successful career as a partner at Bregman and Hamann Architects and Engineers. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday at 11 o�clock at ST. BONAVENTURE�S CHURCH, 1300 Leslie Street. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations made to the Good Shepherd Refuge, 412 Queen Street East, Toronto, Ontario M5A 1T3 would be appreciated; as it is a centre serving the homeless and disadvantaged where Win and Tom Lovett volunteered their time.
