Obituary of Robert Hodgson

HODGSON, Robert With peaceful grace at home, Bob in his 86th year, beloved husband and best friend for 61 years of Dorothy (Hall) and cherished father of Janet (Steve Bivall) and Joyce (Wally Reid). Proud grandfather of Jason and Alison Bivall and Jeffrey, Terry and Alan Reid. He will be sadly missed by his sister, Doreen Maclauchlan, many nephews, nieces and their families. Bob was an overseas veteran of WWII RCAF and a 60 year member of the Talbot Lodge #546 in St. Thomas. A longtime resident of Leaside, Bob was the former owner of W. F. Clifton Plumbing, was a 50 year member of Leaside United Church and had been involved in the Leaside Baseball Association for 60 years. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Monday, August 8. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, August 9 at one o�clock.
