Obituary of Reverend Charles Steinmetz
STEINMETZ, Reverend Charles Retired minister of the First Hungarian Presbyterian Church and the Free Hungarian Reformed Church Toronto, passed away peacefully in his sleep in his 101st year on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 at the Rekai Centre Nursing Home in Toronto. Predeceased by his wife Beatrice and survived by his sons Paul (wife Kim) and Peter (wife Elke), his grandson Mark (wife Jane) and great-grandsons John and David, grandson Carey (wife Penny) and great-grandson Colin and granddaughter Vanessa (husband John) and great-granddaughter Isabel. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7 to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 3. A funeral service will be held at the FIRST HUNGARIAN PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH in Toronto, 439 Vaughan Road on Monday, July 4th at 2 o�clock. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery. The family wishes to express its heartfelt thanks to Dr. Lee and to the nurses and staff at the Rekai Centre where our dear father was kindly and sensitively cared for during his last days with us.
