I have not seen Joan since I worked with her at St. Johns Rehabilitation Hospital (1989-1995). When I recently heard the news of her death I was immediately filled with very fond memories of a wonderfully warm, caring, gentle, woman. She loved life and had a sense of humour that would often have myself and her colleagues in tears laughing so hard.I remember she seemed to love carrots, often bringing whole carrots to nibble on at lunch or break. We jokingly gave her the nickname "Joan Rabbit". My thoughts go out to you and your family and friends Joan. We will all celebrate you and your life. You touched many lives I'm sure. No doubt you are celebrating with Angels and teaching them a heavenly yoga class. With Heartfelt Sympathy, Your friend and former colleague, Shelley (Shelley Goetze O'Connor) Everyone sit back, Breathe, Meditate and be mindful of Joan at peace. God Bless.
