Obituary of Arthur Alan Perkins
PERKINS, Arthur Alan
Peacefully at Toronto Grace Health Centre on Friday, June 3, 2005, in his 90th year. Alan was a well-known enamelist who exhibited in Canada and internationally for more than 30 years. He taught enameling at George Brown College for over 25 years and was a member of the Ontario Society of Artists, the Society of Canadian Artists and the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. Beloved husband of Reeva Inez Perkins (nee Purdon) who predeceased him (1994). Loving and loved father of Linda Marilyn Perkins and Gregory Allan Perkins. Father-in-law of William Westcott and Karen Perkins. Grandfather of Kristin Spate, Daniel Perkins, and wife Lacey, and Matthew Perkins. Great-grandfather of Addeyah and Ethan Perkins. Dear brother of Mary Hopkins and Robert Perkins. At Alan�s request, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, 1920 Yonge Street, 4th Floor, Toronto, Ontario M4S 3E2 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 15 Toronto Street, Suite #800, Toronto, Ontario M5C 2E3 would be appreciated by the family.
