Obituary of Joyce Helen Watkins

WATKINS, Joyce Helen (Child) It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dear Mum and Nanny at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, on Wednesday, May 25, 2005, surrounded by family and friends. Born in London, England in 1926, Joyce was the wife of the late George (Ted) Watkins. Beloved mother of Susan Barker (Steve), Judith Watkins (the late Anthony Kapsa) and Elizabeth Mack (Colin). Cherished Nanny of Jamie, Andrew, Samantha, Kimberley, Nicholas, Thomas, Christopher and Lucy. Great-grandmother of Nathan and Sophie. Loving Aunt of Anne Tyrrell, Laura Tom and Peter Child. Dear sister of Kathleen McMillan and the late Thomas Child, and brother-in-law, Donald McMillan. She leaves behind dear friends and her beloved cat Gizmo. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2005. Service at ST.
