Obituary of Robert Axford
AXFORD, Robert (1945-2005)
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing on March 31, 2005 of our beloved husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle and good friend, R.C. Bob Axford. He is survived by his mother Joyce, wife Tonya (Holowatch), sons Barrett and Russell, daughter-in-law Ashlea, sisters Janet Whitehouse (George) and Linda Hebel, close family friend Douglas Buckingham and his four legged companions Robin, Tatum, Kiwi and Monty. He will be remembered by everyone for his vast knowledge of everything and his passion for gourmet cooking. He always put himself before others, believing that nice guys finish first, not last. He was a colorful man that always found the sense of humor in life. He gave his voice to the world through his voice over work and his reading for the blind. His love for literature will be surpassed by no one as well as his love for golf and his acute sense of detail. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. Monday April 4th . Service in the chapel on Tuesday, April 5th at 1 oclock.
