Dear Vicki & Family: So sorry to hear of Don's passing, and so sorry this is belated but we just found out a few days ago (April 6th). It is a shame that those of us who worked with Don have since retired and are spread out all over the country, making it difficult to be kept abreast of news of our former collegues & friends. I will be 61 this year and have been retired from CP Rail for 10 years. However, I recall many fond memories of Don when he worked for CP Rail at 69 Yonge Street and thereafter with the Union Pacific Railway, with whom I had many dealings. I worked in various Marketing & Sales positions in Toronto and then was transferred back to my home town in Trenton to service Eastern Ontario. I believe I met you at one or more events within the Toronto Transportation Club, probably a Ladies Night, and I just wanted you to know that I am deeply saddened by your loss. It is hard to believe we were of the same age and now he is gone. Sincerely, Dick Button (retired) CP Rail Marketing & Sales 42 Barbara Street Trenton ON, K8V 1Z5 613-394-5542 e-mail: dick_button@sympatico.ca
