HUNT, The Reverend James E. (B.A. STB)
Father James Hunt died suddenly while on route to his favourite vacation destination with his best friend and sister Jo-Anne. Loving son of the late James Coffey and Margaret (Peg) Hunt. Brother of Jo-Anne, Bill and his wife Linda. Dear uncle of Gregg, Dallas, Erin and her children Paige, April, Hunter and Belle. Jim was a graduate of Trinity College (U of T) ordained to the priesthood in 1963. After years in parish life, Jim pursued a second love, teaching English and Theatre Arts for 27 years at Martin Grove Collegiate. During his classroom years, Jim remained active in various parishes including St James' Cathedral. At the time of his death, Jim was an Honourary Assistant, at St. Thomas Anglican Church, his spiritual home. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2007. A solemn Requiem Mass will be conducted on Thursday, October 11, 2007 at St. Thomas Anglican Church 383 Huron Street at 2:30 p.m. The burial will be held on Friday, October 12, 2007 at York Cemetery, Section 16 at 1 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jim's memory to LOFT, St. Thomas Anglican Church or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family."The Light of our Lives"
