Obituary of Anna Irene Sahota

SAHOTA, Anna Irene (nee Ohlig) Peacefully on Thursday, March 3, 2005, at St. Michael�s Hospital, in her 73rd year, following a lengthy and courageous struggle with heart disease. Beloved wife of Sarwan Sahota. Loving mother of Paul (Susan) and Michael (Beverley) and dear "Oma� to Scarlett, Clifton, Sean and Madeline. Survived by brother Helmut (Elizabeth) and sister Agathe of Germany. Fondly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family is grateful to have been blessed with 13 precious years with Irene since her first heart attack in 1992. Many thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Michael�s who have taken such good care of her over the years, especially Dr. Dorian, Mary Green, the staff at the Defibrillator Clinic and Dr. Santo. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
