Obituary of Letty Gifford

GIFFORD, Letty Mary Christina Passed away, Monday, February 21, 2005, in Toronto East General Hospital. Born July 18, 1922 in Kitchener Ontario, Letty was educated at the Ontario School For The Blind, in Brantford. Predeceased by mother Freida Coutts, stepfather Douglas Coutts, as well as father Herbert James Gifford and two brothers in infancy. She was a resident of Nisbet Lodge. Letty enjoyed dancing and playing cards, especially cribbage and bingo. She really enjoyed listening to the hockey and baseball games, especially the Blue Jays. Will be missed by her brothers Herbert and wife Anne of Thunder Bay, Roy and wife Evelyn of London, Ontario and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23rd. A service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, February 24th, at one o�clock, with a reception to follow. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener.
