Obituary of Eleanor Thorne-Cairns

THORNE-CAIRNS, Eleanor Passed away peacefully, on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at Southlake Regional Hospital, Newmarket, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late George. Loving sister of Don and Walter. Devoted aunt of Larry (Linda) and Bryan (Betsy). Great-aunt of Matthew (Maryam), Catherine (Greg), Karen, Michael and Lyndsay. Great-great-aunt of Anderson. Eleanor worked for the City of Toronto for over 50 years. An Executive Secretary for many years, Eleanor was known to type 152 words per minutes. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, February 20th. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, February 21st, at 3 o�clock. Reception to follow. Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
