Obituary of Vincent Reeves

REEVES, Vincent Paul (retired 48 year employee with C.N.R.) It is with much sadness that our family announces the passing of Vincent: husband, father, brother and grandfather, in the early hours of February 18, 2005, at the age of 74. He died peacefully, at the Toronto East General Hospital, with his wife, Nan, at his side. He will be greatly missed by Nan, daughter Helen, son Doug, daughter-in-law Kathy and grandchildren Cameron, Claire and Emily, friends and family. Brother of Marie, Betty, Gerard and predeceased by brothers James, Jack, Bernard and Arthur. We would like to express our thanks to the many people - family and friends, near and far - who were such an important part of his life and provided him with love and enduring friendship, as well as support when he and the family needed it most. We would also like to thank the staff of Leisure World - O�Connor Court 2B and the TEGH 2A, for their care and compassion during final stages of the challenges he faced with Picks Disease and in his last hours. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, February 20th. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael�s Cathedral, 65 Bond Street, on Monday February 21st, at 10 o�clock, followed by interment at the Toronto Necropolis Cemetery, 200 Winchester Street. Donations to Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation, 610 University Avenue, Toronto M5G 2M9, would be appreciated.
