Obituary of Elizabeth Lancsa

LANCSA, Elizabeth "Granny� Following a sudden massive stroke at North York General Hospital on Friday, February 11, 2005. For 98 years, she bestowed unconditional love, encouragement, support and devotion to all who knew her, but especially to her beloved family. She will be sorely missed by her loving daughter Betty; her endearing granddaughters, Susie, Julie, Laura and Lisa; her three fine grand-sons-in-law, Dr. Peter Hughes, Peter Orrell and Craig MacGauley; and her four adoring great-grandchildren, Marley, Jonathan, Vanessa and Stephanie. Her eternal spirit of cheerfulness, optimism and love will be with us always. With special thanks to the Paramedics, Doctors and staff at North York General Hospital. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16 and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, February 17. Funeral services will be in the chapel on Friday morning at 11 o�clock. Interment at St. James-the-Less Cemetery, 635 Parliament Street , Toronto. A reception will be held in the Leaside Room of the Funeral Home following the interment. The family would appreciate remembrances being made to E. P.
