Obituary of Eileen Sheppard

SHEPPARD, Eileen Elsey (nee Young) It is with great sadness and many heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Eileen Elsey Sheppard (nee Young), on Saturday, February 5, 2005. Her courageous battle ended and her suffering stopped. She will always be remembered for her strength and dedication to her loving children who made her very proud. She leaves behind her best friend and sister Edna Lowe and her beloved and devoted children - Susan Finlayson and her husband Rod, Tom, Martha, Kathy and her husband John Mitchell, Nancy Rychel and her husband Rick, Robert and his wife Karen, Carolyn Grossi and her husband Rob, and her greatest source of joy, her grandchildren - Zack, Brock, Tyler, Trevor, Blythe, Veronica, Jaclyn and Madlyn. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7- 9 p.m. on Monday and from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday. A service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. A private family Interment will take place at Prospect Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, 20 Holly Street, Suite #101, Toronto, Ontario M4S 3B1, would be greatly appreciated.
