Obituary of Martha Mackay

MACKAY, Martha Ellen (nee Fawns) On Monday, January 24, 2005, at home, in her 75th year, after a brief illness. Predeceased by her husband Reverend Eoin Mackay. Mother of John Britton and his wife Jennifer, Marty Britton and her husband Ed Lopes, Margaret Mackay of Scotland and her husband John Gerrard and Alison Mackay and her husband David Fallis. Beloved grandmother of Luc and Nicolette Lopes, John and Alexander Mackay. Sister of Betty Fischer, Jack and Marion Fawns. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Garnet, Stanley, Elvina, Merville, Lloyd, Calvin, William and Herbert. Devoted to family, she loved sports and brought her caring warmth and elegance to communities such as Out of the Cold and Belmont House. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26th. A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, January 27th, at 3 o�clock. Reception to follow.
