DAY, Philip Harold
At St. Clair O'Connor Nursing Home, Toronto, on Sunday, January 2, 2005, after a long illness, in his 76th year. He is survived by his beloved wife Sheryl, son Nigel (Kim Duffy) and daughter Nicola (Brad Bull); grandchildren
Courtney, Riley and Bryson, and nephew Mathew. Born in Cardiff, Wales, a graduate of the University of Wales at Cardiff and the University of Toronto, he spent three years with the Royal Welch Fusiliers and taught French in England and Toronto, as well as at Appleby College, St. Columba College and St. Andrew's College. He will be
remembered for his love of languages, rugby, travel and music. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME - A.W. MILES CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Eglinton Avenue East), from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, January 8th. A memorial service and reception for friends will take place in the chapel on Sunday, January 9th at one o�clock.
