Hello Jean, You may not remember me, but I was a classmate of John's. We were all always very proud of him and thought it cool that he was an executive in a company as prestigious as Christie Brown. John was one of those persons who was very widely known to a large constituency associated with the university, and his service was considerable. I send you and your family my inadequate sympathy.

Dear Jean, Jill, Janet and family, It was with great sorrow that I heard of the passing of John. Although many years have passed, I still remember your family's friendship and support for me and my family over the years. Thank you.
